Welcome to American Truckers United

The team behind the national movement demanding English proficiency for truck drivers — and calling for bans on non-domicile CDLs and B1 visitor visa abuse by Mexico and Canada — has now planted its roots in Oklahoma. That grassroots movement already produced a Presidential executive order, the passage of Oklahoma’s SB20, Operation Guardian, the USDOT’s final ruling on Non-Domicile CDLs, SCOTUS Broker Liability, and is now leading efforts to pass Dalilah’s Law.

Oklahoma was chosen as national headquarters because of the state’s bold leadership in combating illegal alien truckers, its steadfast support for safe Main Street trucking companies, and its resistance to Wall Street mega-carrier influence.

For too long, the trucking industry has been misrepresented by voices that only speak for Wall Street fleets and unaccountable freight brokers. Yet the American trucking industry was built — and continues to thrive — on privately held, American-owned, asset-based operators. These are the companies that invest in safety, their people, their communities, and the infrastructure that makes the industry stronger. They do not outsource their operations overseas, they do not seek excessive profits by insourcing their drivers from the Third World, and they take full responsibility for the vetting of their truck drivers.

Governed exclusively by a board of directors composed solely of experienced asset-based operators from privately held American trucking companies — with no Wall Street carriers and no foreign controlled motor carriers — the organization will deliver a clear, united voice that puts SAFE, American-owned, asset-based fleets and their drivers first.

“Our industry was built by hard-working American truck drivers and the family-owned companies that invest in them. These companies also invest in safety, maintenance, driver vetting, and state-of-the-art equipment.” said Shannon Everett, a Founding Director. “These are the people who made American trucking great, and these are the people who will fight to make it great again.”

American Truckers United will advocate boldly against illegal immigration and illegal chameleon carriers in the brokerage ecosystem. It will fight for the industry we love by focusing on stronger highway safety, fair competition, strong borders, national security, and full accountability across the entire supply chain.

Guided by faith and grounded in the values of hard work and responsibility, American Truckers United is committed to restoring the greatness of the American-owned trucking industry. United we will Make Trucking Great Again!

USDOT announces immediate action against issuing of non-domiciled CDLs, with direct action against California

The announcement was made on Friday, September 26th by U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy following the completion of the agency’s audit of state policies regarding the issuing of non domiciled CDLs.

The press release states that the audit revealed the many ways that the current regulatory framework can fail, and even uncovered the “catastrophic pattern of states issuing licenses illegally to foreign drivers.” The USDOT has determined that these factors have created an imminent hazard on the roadways that must be fixed immediately.

US “Pauses Issuance Of Worker Visas For Truckers” To Address Illegal Alien CDL Crisis Killing Americans

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is taking decisive action to address the non-domiciled commercial driver’s license (CDL) crisis, which has transformed America’s highways into both a public safety nightmare and a national security threat. Countless Americans have lost their lives this year at the hands of non-English-speaking migrants/illegal aliens operating 80,000-pound big rigs – yet they should never have been on the road, but were allowed to because rogue sanctuary states handed out CDLs like candy. Under the Biden-Harris regime, tens of thousands of these migrants flooded into the trucking industry, many unable to read road signs in English.

“This Cannot Happen Again”: Sec. Duffy Readies Major Action Against Rogue States Amid Migrant CDL Crisis

In a bold move amid mounting highway tragedies, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy has launched a scathing investigation into “rogue states” accused of flouting federal rules on Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs), directly linking lax enforcement to deadly crashes. The probe, announced on August 19, targets states like Washington, New Mexico, and California following a horrific Florida incident on August 12, where an illegal alien trucker – holding improperly issued CDLs – executed an illegal U-turn, killing three Americans. Duffy blasted “non-enforcement and radical immigration policies” for turning the trucking industry into a “lawless frontier,” allowing unqualified foreign drivers to operate massive 40-ton rigs.

Illegal Alien Behind Fatal Florida Big Rig Crash; Sec. Duffy Signals Major Action On CDL Crisis

Six months ago, the advocacy group American Truckers United (ATU) emerged as a prominent voice on X (read here), leading the charge within the U.S. trucking sector against the massive influx of non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders – allowed under the globalist Biden-Harris regime – that has transformed America’s highways into both a public safety crisis and a national security risk.

Florida Highway Horror: Migrant Truck Driver Leaves 3 Americans Dead Amid CDL Crisis

In yet another tragic incident underscoring the dangers on America’s highways, a Punjabi migrant truck driver allegedly executed an illegal U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce on August 12, resulting in a catastrophic collision that killed three innocent Americans. The semi-truck, attempting the prohibited maneuver in an “official use only” area, was struck by a minivan carrying a 30-year-old driver from Pompano Beach and his passengers—a 37-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man from MiamiAll three perished, with two dying at the scene and the driver succumbing later in the hospital.

From North America To Australia, Migrant Truckers Are Fueling A Highway Safety Crisis

Three weeks after President Trump’s Executive Order reinstated enforcement of English language proficiency requirements for American truck drivers—regulations that had been waived by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in 2016 under President Obama—a growing number of unsafe and non-English-speaking drivers are being removed from U.S. highways and placed ‘Out of Service’ until they can demonstrate basic English communication skills.
