Terms of Service Agreement for American Truckers United (ATU) 

Welcome to American Truckers United (ATU), a for-profit advocacy group based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. By joining or using our services, you agree to the following terms of service: 

1. Acceptance of Terms 

By accessing or participating in any activities organized by ATU, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services or participate in our activities. 

2. Membership and Participation 

Eligibility: Membership is reserved exclusively for American citizens, including current holders of a US Commercial Driver’s License, retired drivers who previously possessed such a license, American trucking companies, industry stakeholders, victims of truck-related incidents and their families, as well as any individual or entity dedicated to advancing the advocacy objectives of the ATU. 

Participation: Members may participate in campaigns, advisory councils, events, and legislative advocacy efforts. Participation must align with ATU’s for-profit goals and legal standards. 

3. Purpose of ATU 

ATU aims to advocate for changes in the trucking industry through legislative and legal efforts, focusing on improving the economic and working conditions for American Truck Drivers. 

4. Code of Conduct 

Members are required to follow a professional code of conduct that upholds the organization’s focus on advocating for American citizens, which should be understood as support for a specific group rather than discrimination. Any behavior that constitutes harassment, exclusion based on factors unrelated to citizenship, or that disrupts the harmony of the group, is strictly forbidden. 

Advocacy efforts must remain within legal bounds. Members shall not engage in or promote illegal activities. 

5. Privacy and Data Use Policy 

ATU collects personal and usage data to enhance service delivery, facilitate communication, and identify economic opportunities for truckers. We prioritize your data’s security and utilize it for advocacy, operational, and marketing purposes. While we may share anonymized data with partners, your personal information is kept confidential and shared only with consent or when required by law. 6. Financial Contributions and Membership Fees 

Membership may involve fees, which will be used for advocacy work, operational costs, and profit. Details about fees will be clearly communicated. 

Contributions or fees paid are not typically refundable unless otherwise stated in specific campaign terms. 

7. Liability 

ATU is not responsible for the individual actions of its members. Members are liable for their actions, especially if they act outside the scope of ATU’s directives. 

8. Amendments 

ATU reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Notice will be given, and continued membership or use of services implies acceptance of revised terms. 

9. Dispute Resolution 

Any disputes will be addressed through mediation in North Little Rock, AR, or through legal proceedings if mediation fails. 

10. Termination of Services 

ATU can terminate or suspend services or membership for violation of these terms or any behavior detrimental to ATU’s goals or reputation. 

11. Communications 

Members agree to receive communications from ATU, which may include updates, newsletters, or promotional content. 

12. Use of Intellectual Property 

The name “American Truckers United” and associated logos are owned by ATU. Use for any purpose must be approved by ATU. 

13. Foundational Principles 

American Truckers United is founded on Christian values, which guide our advocacy, operations, and interactions. We believe in: 

  • Compassion and Support: Offering help and understanding to all members, reflecting the love and compassion taught by Christ. 
  • Integrity and Honesty: Conducting all our affairs with the highest level of integrity, reflecting honesty in our advocacy efforts, business dealings, and communications. 
  • Respect and Dignity: Treating every individual with respect and dignity, recognizing that all are made in the image of God. 
  • Justice and Fairness: Advocating for just treatment and fair policies within the trucking industry, inspired by biblical principles of justice. 
  • Community and Fellowship: Building a community among truckers that supports one another in faith and profession, encouraging fellowship and prayerful support. 

While ATU operates on these Christian principles, we welcome American Citizens of all backgrounds who support our mission and values, promoting an environment of mutual respect. Engagement with ATU does not require adherence to Christian beliefs, but members are expected to respect these foundational principles in their interactions and activities within the group. 

13. Governing Law 

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA. 

By engaging with ATU, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. Together, we aim to drive impactful changes in the trucking industry for profit and better working conditions.
